Civil Engineer
A civil engineer specialising in hydropower, trained at Kathmandu University. I work on the structures that turn Nepal's rivers into power — and on the planning that gets them built.
SHT 01 Profile
As a Civil Engineering graduate from Kathmandu University with a specialization in hydropower, I currently serve as a Planning Engineer at Sinohydro Corporation Limited on the 99.8 MW Tamakoshi Hydropower Project.
My professional foundation was built through internships at the 100 MW Super Trishuli Hydropower Project and Claim Dispute, Resolution and Consultancy (CDRC).

Tracking actual progress against baseline, measuring variance, and producing progress reports that tell stakeholders where the job really is.

Working between the plan and the field — aligning planned sequence with what crews, plant and access can actually deliver on the ground.

Field knowledge of barrage, intake, trashrack, spillway and draft tube works, plus grouting and foundation treatment from live project exposure.

Site supervision against approved drawings — pre-concreting checks, formwork and reinforcement, batching, placement, vibration and curing.
2.06
Concrete cube testing, material checks and QC documentation as part of routine site quality procedure.
2.07
Primavera P6, AutoCAD, QGIS, ProjectLibre and MS Office — drawing interpretation, mapping, reporting and documentation.
